Save the Date for the ICMA Award Ceremony
ICMA and Philharmonie Luxembourg have announced that the annual ICMA Award Ceremony takes place on 22 April 2022, accompanied by a glamourous Gala Concert!
Every year, the IMZ International Music + Media Centre lends its expertise to the International Classical Music Awards and takes part in the nomination + judging process. This year, ICMA and The Philharmonie Luxembourg have announced that the annual ICMA Award Ceremony and Gala Concert will take place on 21 April 2022 hosted by and at the Philharmonie in Luxembourg. The event will reunite the prominent award winners + representatives from the international music industry at one of the most prestigious cultural places in Europe.
The ICMA have been set up in 2010 by the Jury of the former MIDEM Classical Awards. The jury consists of music critics from 16 different countries, representing 20 print or website magazines and radio stations. Annually 16 awards for audio and video productions and a series of Special Awards (Lifetime Achievement, Artist of the Year, Young Artist of the Year, Label of the Year….) honour outstanding musicians from all over the world.
And there is more good news! ICMA and the Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein present a spectacular Award Ceremony Gala on 27 June at the Vaduzersaal in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. The program for this Gala Celebration led by Yaron Traub will feature winners of this year's winner panel with an attractive musical program, accompanied by Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein. The Award Ceremony, available to wider audiences via live stream on Kulmag.live is presented by ICMA President Remy Franck will begin on Sunday 27 June at 15:30 CET and the concert will take place at 18:00 CET. The Award Ceremony and Gala Concert are organized by ICMA and Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein with the help of VP Bank and the municipality of Vaduz.
